One thing a did often throughout editing was cutting and mending. If there was a scene where I wanted things to play out a little differently I could slit the footage into multiple sections and then but them up against each other in an order I found to be more suitable. I did a similar thing with audio where I would cut out a particular section of audio and then duplicate and move into place the second section of audio that has the ambient sound I wanted to include in the first audio clip place.

For music in my movie, I choose to use music from https://www.purple-planet.com and https://www.bensound.com. I learned a little bit about music when choosing it. I learned that bps is a good way of telling what music works together. If the two pieces have the same bps they have the same pace. It is odd for me because I don't know a lot about music, but it seems like even if the bps are not the same if two songs are sound similar they would transition easier, than if they sound different but had the same bps. It is odd because I found it to be the other way around. The songs transition more smoothly if they both have the same bps.
